8 scriptures to keep faith alive when your breakthrough is
a long-time coming

Are you believing God for a breakthrough, or were you believing and quit because it wasn’t
happening fast enough?

Waiting on God can feel tedious at times, so I’m here to tell you to keep holding on to your promise,
with 8 power-packed scriptures to help you.

#1 Mark 11:24 (NIV)- “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that
you have received it, and it will be yours.” Pray in faith and have hope that the fulfillment
of your prayer is on its way. When you pray you are not just asking for something, you are
trusting that, as long as it is already in God’s plan, it is done.

#2 Philippians 4:19 (NIV)- “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches
of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Whatever you need, God will supply. Don’t get discouraged if
you seem to be stuck in unfavorable circumstances; God has already made a way for you.

#3 Psalms 9:10 (NIV)- “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have
never forsaken those who seek you.” Even when you can’t see the light at the end of the
tunnel, remember that the Light—Jesus Christ—is within you as you journey through the
darkness. Trust that God is faithful, and with us even unto the end.

#4 Romans 8:28 (NKJV)- “And we know that all things work together for good to those
who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” God is using
your situation to prepare you for the blessings He has in store! It will all work out for your good
    in the end.

#5 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NLV)- “God will make this happen, for he who calls you is
faithful.” If He said He will do it, bank on it. Our God never starts a work in our lives and then
    neglects to finish it.

#6 Romans 15:13 (NLT)- “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely
with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident
hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Emphasis here is on confident hope. We are
not hoping in the sense of “it might happen”; rather, we are hoping in the sense of “it hasn’t
happened yet.” Be confident that your breakthrough will come to pass in time.

    #7 Psalms 27:14 (ESV)- “Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the LORD!” Patience is key. The saying goes, “Good things come to those who wait.”
In God's Kingdom, what is divinely pre-ordained comes to those who wait. Hold on.

#8 Jeremiah 17:7 (NIV)- “"But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose
confidence is in him.” Even if things aren’t moving along at your preferred pace, don’t try to
make it happen all by yourself. Trust God. He has all power.

To reiterate, place your confidence in God, have hope, be patient, and let Him lead you. Your promise
has already been fulfilled. You’re just waiting for it to manifest.
