Tia and Tamera Mowry Releasing Fictional Book ‘Twintuition’ for
Tweens

Twin sisters and business partners, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tia Mowry-Hardrict, are expanding their brand once
again—this time, by venturing into the world of fiction writing.
The two have co-authored a new book called Twintuition: Double Vision, releasing April 21, from HarperCollins.
It is the story of identical twins Cassie and Caitlyn Waters, who discover their ability to see things before they happen.
Here’s the plot.
Their mom’s new job forces them to move from modern San Antonio to a more obscure area in Aura, Texas. As
Caitlyn attempts to remain upbeat, meet people and explore new things, Cassie isn’t quite so optimistic. She
believes the two sisters won’t thrive in Aura and will long for the home they left behind.
In the middle of this adjustment period, Cassie and Caitlin begin having strange visions of the future. Eventually,
they realize they have to work together to change the future before it happens.
In real life, Tia and Tamera don’t have the same power as Cassie and Caitlin have, but both say they do have a bit of twin
telepathy going on.
“I know exactly what she’s thinking about right now,” said Tamera of her sister Tia, who was sitting by her side in a 2012
AOL interview.
“Sometimes I can feel her emotions and then while Tia was pregnant, a lot of people don’t believe this, but I felt some of
Tia’s contractions and I had some of your cravings.”
Tia confirmed the hard-to-believe, yet very true, account. “One morning, she had called me asking me if I was craving
nachos,” Tia explained. “I don't eat nachos, but I was craving some nachos and she was craving them too.”
More recently, Tia revealed to PEOPLE that she knew Tamera was pregnant with baby #2 before the big announcement
came.
Tamera said of her sister, “She just called me and she was like, ‘Are you pregnant?’ And I said, ‘Yep, I am!’ ”
Tia and Tamera have spent their lives in the public eye for over eighteen years, starting out with their hit ABC/WB
show Sister, Sister.
Both have also starred in Disney Channel's original movies Twitches and Twitches Too as well as the Style Network's #1
reality series, Tia & Tamera.
Currently, Tia stars in and produces the Nickelodeon series Instant Mom. Tamera is a host and producer of The Real
talk show, which airs on FOX and BET.
Both wives and mothers reside in Los Angeles.
