Great Choice: Reality Star Porsha Williams Lists ‘Jesus
Calling’ Devotional Among Favorite Things
As rumors and speculation are flying that Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Porsha Williams, 32, is
pregnant, she has yet to confirm or deny the reports.

Though her ex-husband Kordell Stewart has already publicly denied fathering the unconfirmed baby (provided
it even exists), Williams is busy sharing something else: her love for the best-selling biblical devotional Jesus
Calling by Sarah Young.

On Twitter, the former Christian Evangelist turned reality star, whose financial woes have been publicized as of
late, listed her favorite things.

Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence is a collection of messages penned from Jesus’ point of view.
Those who read the words feel exactly as if the Savior Himself is speaking, calling out, and beckoning them to
come into His presence.

From Williams' tweet, it looks like she has R&B/Gospel singer Shirley Murdock to thank for introducing her to
the comforting book that millions of others read daily.

Though Williams seems to have lost her way in her walk of faith, in difficult times, she has been known to rely
on scriptures, Christian music and prayer to get her through.

In March 2013, after admitting she was blindsided by her then husband’s divorce filing, confirmed reports said
she leaned heavily upon her family and faith.

At the height of her grief, Williams tweeted inspirational messages and took comfort in the words of Pastor Joel
Osteen, that said, “Your problems may be big, but our God is much bigger. Your obstacles may be high, but we
serve the Most High God.”

Perhaps, one day, when the dust clears, Williams will find her way back to a fully committed relationship with
Jesus Christ and a sincere focus on her once active ministry.

In the meantime, feasting on biblical resources may just be paving the path forward.
