The eroding values of women in American society plays out through hyper-sexuality, promiscuity and disrespectful actions toward self and others.
But GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel singer Erica Campbell is coming against these negative trends through a new empowerment movement.
More Than Pretty (MTP), for women 18 and older, aims to spark important and substantive conversations about Christianity, sexuality, friendships and relationships from a Godly perspective.
Campbell’s female-focused ministry is hosting an event Saturday, May 23 at Faithful Central Bible Church (The Tabernacle) in Inglewood, California.
Aside from informative, open and honest conversation, attendees will engage in a question and answer session with Campbell and other participating leaders.
“This event is designed to educate beyond the pulpit,” according to MTP promotional materials.
In a time when secular perspectives threaten to overshadow biblical principles, the discussion will be “a learning experience with the understanding that God’s way gets God’s results.”
In addition to her thriving solo career, Campbell, 43, is a wife, mother and First Lady, who promotes biblical values to those who follower her ministry.
