EEW Magazine President Dianna Hobbs Slams ‘Noah’: ‘Save Your
Time & Money’
An atheist put it together. Should we really be surprised that an admittedly Godless man, Darren Aronofsky, did
a preposterous job reframing God’s character and intention in his Paramount Pictures film “Noah”?

Although it raked in $41 million at the box office and sits comfy in the #1 position, conservative Christians like
EEW Magazine’s President & CEO, Dianna Hobbs, were turned off by the extreme deviation from the biblical
text.

“I saw ‘Noah’ & it's a gross distortion of the Bible,” wrote Hobbs on her
Facebook page, Saturday, March 29. “It
gets 2 thumbs down. Way down.”

The award-winning faith-based media specialist added, “My recommendation: save your time & money”—a bit
of advice many, who were on the fence about heading out to theaters, will likely heed.

Hobbs, whose
music and talk radio show “Turnt Up with Sunny D” airs daily on WUFO 1080 in Buffalo, said she
tried to keep an open mind going in. During her broadcast last week, she told listeners she would reserve
judgment until after the film opened.

Well, judgment day has come and the verdict isn’t good.

“It was so fantasy-based and distorted that it was just a disaster,” Hobbs said in response to one of the
commenters on her social networking page, “I'm trying to tell as many people as I can that it really does not
honor the Bible at all.”

In another elaboration, she explained that others should feel free to see it if they wish, while being strongly
cautioned against expecting a respectful presentation of the Bible story.

“My sharing of my viewpoint is not to dogmatically dissuade anyone who wishes to see it firsthand,” said Hobbs.
“But for anyone that was under the impression that it is a close-to-biblical interpretation, I wanted to warn them
in advance.”
