Four months after falling seriously ill and disappearing from social media, EEW Magazine Founder Dianna Hobbs, posted a message on Facebook Sunday morning.
"Hey, it’s Dianna. In pain today, but feeling stronger," said the 40-year-old award-winning Christian media specialist in the first words she's uttered online since last September.

As previously reported, known as one of the Top 100 faith bloggers in America, Hobbs was diagnosed with two conditions specialists say are incurable— an autoimmune disease called Rheumatoid Arthritis and a chronic rheumatic condition known as Fibromyalgia.
Rheumatoid Arthritis causes white blood cells to mistake healthy cells for foreign invaders like bacteria and viruses. Essentially, the body attacks itself, leading to destructive results. Fibromyalgia causes widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. The combination of the individually painful diseases has taken an even greater toll on her body.
"Thank you for the love, prayer, scriptures, encouragement. I’m overwhelmed & grateful. I know God is working," continued the best-selling author of The New A-list, a resource on abstinence widely used in ministries across the nation to encourage purity.
Though Hobbs tested positive for a high level of “The Rheumatoid Factor,” a bad protein in her blood, making her disease more aggressive and painful, she says she is holding fast to a special Scripture on her grueling journey to recovery and wholeness.
"In this season, I am clinging to His word. 'Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all,'" Hobbs wrote, quoting a passage in Psalm 34:19.
She also thanked the legion of people "praying for me," from around the world adding, "It means everything."

Since the news specifying details of the ministry leader's combination of painful diseases was published by her staff last week, the response has been overwhelming says Hobbs' publicist Amy Bertinelli.
"The ministry team has been flooded with emails, calls, cards, gifts and donations from those wanting to make sure it is well with Dianna and her needs are met at this time. It has been truly beautiful," said Bertinelli.

Doctors suspected cancer was the cause of Hobbs' pain, severe bruising all over her body, as well as her inability to walk or eat. But after a tumor was found, Kenya Hobbs, the ministry Founder's husband of 19 years said, "by the grace of God, surgeons removed it and came back with a pathology report saying no cancer. It took a long time for specialists to uncover the actual issue and we are thankful to really know what’s going on.”
“We don’t know when God is going to complete the work of healing in my body, but the same faith I share with others on my good days, I cling to on my worst days, even sometimes with tears streaming down my face and the inability to get up out of bed,” said the ailing Bible teacher and well-loved inspirational writer.
Since Hobbs' posting Sunday, hundreds have shared messages of love, prayer and encouragement to the encourager of women who, before illness, typically posted multiple daily inspirations to her thousands of followers.
For now Hobbs’ administrative staff says all engagements remain canceled until further notice, as Hobbs' top-rated podcast and popular “Daily Cup of Inspiration” blog remain dormant also.
"Keep the prayers coming," said Bertinelli.
