Awww: David and Tamela Mann Welcome New 'Babies' Hun and
Duke
The Manns have expanded their family.

Animal-loving Christian couple David and Tamela Mann, both 47, are introducing the world to their newest
babies-- the four-legged kind.

Meet the adorable Hun and Duke, which appear to be American Akitas, originating from the mountainous
northern regions of Japan.

How sweet are
they?

Known for their strength, independence and beauty, Akitas make lovable family pets, always showing lots of
affection, though they can be somewhat stand-offish around strangers.

The parents, who have raised 5 children together and have 8 grandchildren, certainly have plenty of love to
lavish on their furry pets, as well as their ducks.

In October 2013,
the famous pair shared a Facebook video of them replacing some of the birds in their pond
that, according to Mrs. Mann, had been eaten by a giant turtle. Yikes!

We’re sure the cute pups will fare much better than their aquatic family members.

Currently, the "new parents" are featured on the 2014 Couples Issue of Ebony Magazine. Inside the pages of
the popular glossy, the two share their secrets to happiness and longevity.

“Stay in love because when you’re in love, it covers a multitude of faults,” the head of the household told
Ebony. “Our relationship wasn’t based on good sex or having a lot of money. It was based on just straight
friendship. That’s what has kept us.”

Following up his remarks, the missus added, “I pray and ask God to keep my heart and my eyes burning only for
David Mann. I speak his name in my prayers, because I want the desire to stay, so when he touches me, I get
chills.”
