Porsha Williams Makes Gospel Song Birthday Dedication To Her
Mother
EEW Magazine Entertainment News
Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta Star, Porsha Williams, 31, is a former Christian Evangelist, whom, at one
time, preached the gospel of Jesus Christ with conviction. Many within the faith community are still rooting for
her to fully come back home.
On occasion, the “Naked Hair” CEO’s inner church girl finds its way out despite her shenanigans, TV foolery
and personal drama. Such was the case on Wednesday, Jan. 22 on Twitter.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!! I love you soo much!!” she wrote in an exuberant B-day message to her long-
suffering mother, Diane, who took her daughter back in after her marriage to NFL star Kordell Stewart
collapsed in under 2 years.
JANUARY 22, 2014
“I don't need a reason to tell you I love you and spoil you but your birthday is a good one. Turn up Queen this
is your Day!” continued Williams.
She ended with, “Song: Trin-i-tee 5:7 ‘I Don't need a reason.’"
Williams’ song choice reveals her connection to gospel music.
Trin-i-tee 5:7, though now broken up, was a popular Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning gospel group
that debuted in 1998. Their musical career spanned 15 years, resulting in 2.5 million album sales.
Their final album, simply titled “Angel and Chanelle” features the song Williams dedicated to her mother.
