Often people say gospel music soothes the soul. And they’re right, according to EEW Magazine
President Dianna Hobbs.

The award-winning faith-based media specialist says GRAMMY® nominated gospel artist Travis
Greene’s song “The Hill” has uplifted her during her battle with sickness.

“Travis Greene’s ‘The Hill’ has been such an encouragement to me,” wrote Hobbs, 40, in a
transparent Facebook post Thursday, Feb. 16.

She is battling through a severe case of an autoimmune disease known as
Rheumatoid Arthritis
and also, Fibromyalgia—two diagnoses doctors and specialists took months to make.
“The Hill” reminds listeners of the healing power of the cross where Jesus shed His blood—
something the wife and mother of four keeps focused on when the pain is excruciating.

“I’ve got to keep my environment saturated only with things that remind me of the love, power,
mercy, grace and faithfulness of God,” Hobbs told those who follow her on the social media site,
and asked “What songs help get you through?”

The Stellar Women of Gospel Award-winner received plenty of faith-building music suggestions
like Tasha Cobbs’ “Put a Praise on It,” Tamela Mann’s “God Will Provide,” and Kari Jobe’s
“Healer.”

“I rebuke pain, heart trouble, blood pressure issues and mobility struggles. We’re praying for
God to stabilize and regulate my system which causes certain debilitating symptoms,” continued
Hobbs who shared information about the negative manifestations in her body.

And yet, she’s staying positive with the help of the Lord.

“The favor of the Lord belongs to me and healing is my portion,” said Hobbs. “Even when it
doesn’t feel like it, I know in whom I believe. I trust God. Even when it feels like I’m dying, I believe
the report of the Lord.”

The typically active Evangelist-Missionary, who frequently travels to minister the gospel, and
posts a new
blog post and podcast online daily, has been unable to do any of those things since
last September.

Nevertheless, she is trusting God for breakthrough and complete wholeness.
